Who Is Luna Ketta?
Luna Ketta is The Moon Cat. According to legend, she is the daughter of Nyx (the Greek Goddess of the night). The identity of her Father is unknown. Luna's skin is comprised of stardust, a symbol of her Divine legacy.
From the moment Luna was born, her Mother adored her. Nyx knew that her daughter was destined for something great. As Luna began to grow, however, everyone around her noticed that she was extraordinarily clumsy. It affected everything that she tried to do. Nyx attempted to teach her how to be graceful, but nothing worked. Desperate, Nyx decided to take Luna down to Earth in search of help. Their search eventually led them to Iceland, where they found a tribe of Ketta (cat Spirits). Upon seeing Luna, the leader of the tribe immediately invited her to take part in a sacred ritual. At first she refused the offer, afraid of what damage she might cause if she tried to participate. But Nyx knew that this was the opportunity they had been looking for. She took Luna aside and encouraged her to reconsider. Finally she agreed to give the ritual a try, not realizing that her whole life was about to change. The moment Luna said yes, she was whisked away into a tent by three of the tribe's Priestesses. The heavy scent of sage, frankincense, and myrrh greeted her as she entered. |
